UCAM Murcia CF 1-0 Sevilla Atlético

The Andalusian side fell to defeat at La Condomina with Jona netting the only goal of the game. The first half was evenly contested, but the Honduran striker made a telling contribution in the second half to seal the points for the hosts and move them away from the relegation zone.

AD Alcorcón 2-3 CD Numancia

There was a real goal fest at Santo Domingo, with Julio Alvarez and David Rodriguez performing starring roles in an enthralling contest. The Numancia midfielder was influential throughout, notching two goals and an assist, while the Alcorcon forward bagged a brace, but it wasn't enough to earn his side a share of the spoils.

CD Lugo 1-0 Córdoba CF

Joselu was on the scoresheet once again, as the top goalscorer in LaLiga 1|2|3 clinched victory for Lugo who cemented their place in the top half of the table. After a very tight opening, the home side ramped up the pressure, and ended up breaking the deadlock with what would prove to be the winner towards the end of the first half.

CD Tenerife 2-0 Elche CF

Tenerife sealed an important win to bolster their position in the upper echelons of the table, with Amath registering a brace and producing a wonderful performance for the Canary Islanders.

Cádiz CF 2-1 CD Mirandés

Cadiz came from a goal down to pick up another three points and boost their promotion bid. The visitors took the lead through Iker Guarrotxena in the early stages of the contest, but the hosts responded well and equalised through Rafidine Abdullah in the 35th minute, before Alfredo Ortuño sent the home fans into raptures by scoring the winner with just 12 minutes left on the clock.

SD Huesca 2-3 R. Zaragoza

The Aragon derby served up goals, excitement and good football. Zaragoza ran out 3-2 winners away to Huesca for their first win in five games. After a goalless first 45 minutes, Borja Lazaro opened the scoring for the home side early in the second half, only for Jean Marie Dongou to equalise just six minutes later. Angel Rodriguez then fired Zaragoza into the lead and Dongou grabbed his second of the game to make it 3-1. Alex Gonzalez pulled a goal back for the visitors in time added on but the match ended 3-2.

Real Oviedo 2-1 RCD Mallorca

R. Oviedo made it eight wins for the season at the Carlos Tartiere with a 2-1 win over Mallorca. Toche gave the home side an early lead when he found the net on seven minutes. Antonio Raillo levelled the game just before the break, but David Costas grabbed his first goal for the club to seal all three points for R. Oviedo.

Rayo Vallecano 1-0 UD Almeria

Rayo got back to winning ways after six straight matches without a win. The only goal of the game came when Fran Velez turned the ball into his own net. Almeria could have equalised from the penalty spot, but Fidel's spotkick was saved by Argentine keeper Paulo Gazzaniga and the points stayed in Vallecas.

Levante UD 2-1 Nastic

Levante's winning streak was brought abruptly to an end by Alcorcon last weekend, but the Granotas bounced straight back today against bottom side Nastic. Despite struggling somewhat, Marti Roger and Jose Morales gave the hosts a 2-0 lead. Juan Delgado pulled one back for the visitors, but that was not enough to stop Levante taking all three points.

CF Reus 1-1 Getafe CF

A penalty apiece meant the points were shared in Reus. Jorge Molina side-footed Getafe ahead from 12 yards in the 35th minute, but Edgar Hernandez was also spot on with 20 minutes to go, securing a third straight draw for the hosts.

Girona FC 2-0 R. Valladolid CF

The Catalans made it six home wins on the spin at R. Valladolid's expense. Sebastian Coris opened the scoring after 25 minutes and then goalkeeper Pau Torres's howler on 79' made the away team's task that much harder. Although Raul de Tomas pulled one goal back in the dying stages, it proved too little too late as second-placed Girona held on for another victory in front of their fans.
