Luis Garcia Plaza will not continue in his role as Villarreal CF manager. He will be replaced by Javier Calleja, who managed the club between 2017 and 2018.
The club communicated their decision to relieve Garcia of his duties on Tuesday afternoon via their official website.

His departure comes after a 3-0 defeat to Valencia CF at Mestalla on Saturday. Calleja will take charge with immediate effect, having only left the Yellow Submarine back in December.
