Initial rhythm
The first minutes of the game were full of rhythm and intensity. Valencia tried to defend themselves in their own half and counter-attack, while FC Barcelona attempted to take control of the ball. The match took both philosophies and, even though they were quite different, they were expressed with a high level of energy.
Defensive help
The great defensive contribution and the lack of spaces were the main virtues of the local team and stood out during the first 60 minutes. It was in Voro’s men’s interest for the minutes to go by, who were growing due to the great performance they carried out.
Barcelona’s left wing
Jordi Alba’s and Neymar’s wing was the main area were the away team was attacking. The Brazilian player insisted throughout the clash on his side and brought a lot of danger to Valencia’s box in the first half. In the second half, with the ease that characterizes Barcelona’s number ‘11’, he left a beautiful play that could have ended in goal.

Luis Suarez
The Uruguayan striker opened the score for the away side in a game in which they were having many chances but weren’t taking advantage of them. The fast ball movement and their electric counter-attacks led to Luis Suarez shooting from inside the box, after fighting for the ball with Abdennour, and scoring the 0-1. With this goal the Barcelona forward has now scored in the last 7 fixtures.
