Valencia falls on penalties against Porto

The final penalty kick missed by Joao Cancelo gives to points to Porto, while Valencia adds one point due to the competition rules. 

The Portuguese team coached by Julen Lopetegui had much more chances along the game and should have closed the match before the penalty shootout, as they enjoyed two shots against the crossbar in the final minutes of the clash. 

With both teams still in practice before the start of the season, the two managers decided to move their bench, rotating his starting line up within the 90 minutes. 

Without a goal in the regular time, the match was decided from the penalty shootout (5-4) and Porto took the upper hand.  The next match for Valencia in the LFP World Challenge tour will be on Sunday against Cologne (15.00 CET) a game that can be followed live on LaLiga.es/en
