Valencia CF took part in a training session alongside one of Malaysia's leading clubs, Johor Darul Ta'zim FC, in which Mathew Ryan, Jaume Domenech, Santi Mina and Javi Fuego were joined by Paco Alcacer who jetted into the Far East with first-team representative Voro Gonzalez.

The Valencia players were put through their paces alongside the hosts and Borussia Dortmund, who are also collaborating with the Malaysian club's academy development. "If you want to make quick progress, you need to bring the best in Europe here. There's also a lot we can learn from Valencia," stated Marc Oliver Stricker, a coach at the German outfit.

Despite the suffocating heat, the Valencia players demonstrated their ability in the various drills, ensuring that the attendees' expectations were well and truly met. Players from the Malaysian side were among those impressed with the touches of brilliance by some of LaLiga's stars, with Argentine Jorge Pereyra Diaz admitting as much: "These guys are top quality, you can see they have class."

Los Che were pleasantly surprised by the high level displayed by the Johor Darul Ta'zim squad. Santi Mina noted, "The players have plenty of quality, they're very hardworking and you have to admire that." Javi Fuego highlighted, "It's interesting to see how football is developing in these countries and it's becoming a social phenomenon."

The Valencia party left Malaysia in the afternoon alongside LaLiga's country manager in China, Sergi Torrents, to head back to Singapore in time for a visit to one of its most spectacular attractions, the Sands Skypark Observation Deck at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.
