In the latest instalment of the radio programme 'El Larguero', aired from Colombia, presenter José Ramón de la Morena took the opportunity to salute the Under-12s sides from Spain that participated in the LaLiga Promises International Tournament. Speaking on the show, the members of the teams discussed their experience in the South American country and the significance for them of the trip and a week of coexistence with fellow players from other clubs.

Some struggled to overcome their feelings of shyness, but a number of youngsters took De la Morena up on his offer of interviewing another of the guests on the programme, Javier Tebas – who was in attendance at the final – in a Q&A session that unfolded in an informal, friendly atmosphere.

The Under-12s asked Tebas to offer his verdict on the tournament. "It's one of the most important events of the year for LaLiga, one that shows to society that it collaborates in the development of young talent and above all of good people. You’ve all demonstrated an extremely high level and the finals were spectacular".

Pancho, captain of Sevilla Under-12s, asked about the reporting of the section of supporters known as the Biris: "They are an important fan group but within that there is a group who fail to maintain the desired standards of conduct. We have to be a football family without hatred or intolerance, just as you have demonstrated".
