Malaga CF will again appear in the LFP World Challenge Tour, a project which aims to bring together the world's leading professional football clubs in an effort to internationally promote the image of Spanish football and the qualities of Marca España.
Whilst a year ago the white and blue side were testing themselves in Australia, this time around their pre-season will see them travel to three different countries to compete for the Euro-American Cup. The tournament, contested by European and American teams, is organised by DirecTV and forms part of the LFP World Challenge program.

Cali, first match
The Malaga squad kicks off its South American tour in Colombia, where they are already situated and prepared to face Deportivo Cali on Sunday 26th August. The match against the current Colombia champions will be held at the Deportivo Cali stadium, with a maximum capacity of 42 000, at 17.00 local time (00.00 Spanish time).
Second stop, Buenos Aires
After the match in Colombia, the Malaga side will move on to Argentina where they will face Club Atletico San Lorenzo of Almagro in the Pedro Bidegain stadium on 30th July at 20.30 local time and 01.30 Spanish time.
And to finish, Montevideo
After the match against the 2014 Copa Libertadores champions, Malaga will move on to the Uruguayan capital for the final stop of their tour. Waiting for them there will be another famous name of South American football, Club Atletico Peñarol, on the 1st of August at 15.00 local/20.00 Spanish time. Their final match will take place in the Centenario stadium with a capacity of 60 000.
Back home
The Malaga squad will return to Buenos Aires after the match against Peñarol, where they will catch a flight back to Spain on the 2nd of August.
