Chapter eight of the LaLiga Santander Experience takes us to the city of Madrid, with that ever so familiar aroma of football infused with excitement.
A group of 13 subscribers to the international broadcasters in South America, Belgium and France – ESPN, Eleven Sports and beIN SPORTS – are about to fulfil their wildest dream as they get to witness a Spanish top-flight match live from the stands courtesy of the LaLiga Santander Experience, an ongoing LaLiga initiative to bring our competition closer to the international audience and expand our brand throughout the world.
And what better venue to do so than the Vicente Calderon? The iconic stadium steeped in over 50 years of history will close its doors this season, but before that these subscribers (including a reporter from beIN SPORTS France) will have the chance to enjoy an unforgettable contest between Atletico Madrid and Valencia CF.
Not only will they get to walk out onto the pitch and discover the hidden delights of Atletico's home ground, the lucky few will also visit some of the most emblematic sites in the Spanish capital on a trip packed with sport and culture worthy of the best league in the world. The saves of Diego Alves and Jan Oblak, the class of Dani Parejo and Gabi, and the goals of Antoine Griezmann and Simone Zaza on LaLiga Matchday 26 will provide the icing on the cake (and what a mouth-watering cake), with social media coverage from LaLiga and the international broadcasters via the hashtag #LaLigaSantanderExperience.
