SÁB 02.09.2017
After two months of busy transfer activity, the summer window closed this Friday with a flurry of late moves from Valencia CF, UD Las Palmas, D. Alaves, Sevilla FC, RCD Espanyol, CD Leganes, Levante UD and Girona FC.
Valencia left it late to close their squad for the first half of the 2017/18. With just minutes remaining before the midnight deadline, Marcelino’s side confirmed the loan signings of PSG’s young Portuguese striker Gonçalo Guedes and Manchester United’s Belgian international Andreas Pereira, who spent last season on loan at Granada CF.

Following the arrival of former Italy international Alberto Aquilani on Thursday, Las Palmas continued strengthening their squad by bringing in Chelsea’s French striker Loic Remy on a permanent deal and St. Etienne’s young Moroccan winger Oussama Tannane on loan.
Alaves were also busy in the run-up to the deadline. Just hours after the announcement of a loan move for Stoke City striker Bojan Krkic, the Vitoria side finalised a deal for Munir El Haddadi on loan from FC Barcelona. Alvaro Medran has also joined the club, on loan from Valencia.

RCD Espanyol went about bringing home their own. Sergio Sanchez, who won the Copa del Rey with the club in 2006, returned on loan from Russian side Rubin Kazan while Sergi Darder also returned home to the club where he began his career on loan from Olympique Lyon.
Sevilla FC made the most of the final few hours before the deadline to bring in Johannes Geis from Schalke 04 and Lionel Carole from Galatasaray on loan, while Leganes picked up Jose Naranjo (Genk) and Nordin Amrabat (Watford), also on loan.
