The international version of LaLiga Promises arrives in Barranquilla

The II edition of the youth tournament will be played in Colombia following the success of last year’s in Peru.

LaLiga Promises continues to spread, and it has now touched down in Barranquilla (Colombia) for the second chapter in the prestigious tournament. The U-12 sides of FC Barcelona, Real Madrid CF, Club Atlético de Madrid, Valencia CF, Sevilla FC and Villarreal CF, alongside another six local sides will meet at the Estadio Metropolitano between 25 and 28 June.

Independiente Santa FE, Barranquilla FC, Deportivo Cali, Atlético Nacional, Junior and ‘Todo bien por Killa’ are the Colombian sides who will take on the Spaniards in the tournament. The interaction of the boys, fair play and sportsmanship are the principal values that this tournament represent. Amongst the Colombian participants, ‘Todo bien por Killa’ stand out. They are a combined side from a project dedicated to psychomotor, social integration and sporting potential development.

Barcelona are the reigning champions after lifting the first edition of LaLiga Promises held in Peru last year. Also, Sevilla go into the tournament having won the XXII National Tournament held in Vila-Real last Sunday, where they beat Barcelona.
