The coaches of the Promises

The LaLiga Promises tournaments don’t just discover young talent on the pitch, but on the bench too. Many coaches begin their career in the football schools and in Vila-Real and Barranquilla, the level shown by the coaches is worth a mention.

Six coaches travelled to Colombia intending to win the final title of the youth football season. Roberto, Daniel, Guillermo, José Manuel, Alfredo and Mario. Six coaches that are also psychologists, doctors, fathers and references for their boys on these tournaments that include many days away from home.

They are constantly better prepared to teach technical aspects and tactics to their youngsters, but without forgetting to include the values of fair play, discipline and daily sacrifice.

The respect and love shown by the boys towards their boss, the attention with which they listen to their talks...that is the reward for some vocacional coaches that enjoy day-to-day life alongside the footballers of the future.
