The past four Liga Adelante matchdays have delivered moments to live long in the memory, unbeatable star showings and fantastic goals. The performances of the likes of R.Sporting, UE Llagostera and CD Tenerife have been rewarded with the presence of some of their players in the Liga Adelante ideal eleven for March, as chosen by the LFP.es writers.
In goal
Alberto García was the main man between the posts in March. Sporting's Catalan keeper has made the starting spot his own at the Asturian club following Iván Cuéllar’s injury and, since taking the jersey, he has played a total of seven games and conceded six times.
In his most recent appearance, against At. Osasuna, Alberto again left no-one in any doubt about his qualities, keeping a clean sheet with crucial saves just when his team needed it the most. If he continues to pick up playing time and good performances, he could end up being one of the pleasant surprises of the Liga Adelante season.
Richy and Pulido have also shown their ability in front of goal
In defence
The all-star line-up’s backline comprises Marc Bertrán on the right flank, Richy and Jorge Pulido in the centre and Ruymán on the left. The CD Leganés right-back has been a fixture since joining the Madrid-based outfit, bringing stability to the team with all of his experience.
The partnership in central defence is formed by one player from Girona FC and another from Albacete B., two teams who have kept themselves in the hunt by picking up points in their recent games. What's more, Richy and Pulido have also shown their ability in front of goal. In the fixture between the two sides, which ended in a 2-2 draw, the pair were both on target, and it was a trick Richy repeated on the last matchday, scoring in his team’s triumph over CD Mirandés.
The four-man defence is completed by a star man for Llagostera: Ruymán. The Catalan outfit's good work have been reflected in his performances which have seen him take on an important, active role in his team’s attacking play and score once during the month of March, his strike setting his side on their way towards a 3-2 victory over CD Lugo.

The midfield
The middle of the pitch is made up of three players capable of bringing a range of attacking options. The wide play offered by Keko and Juanma, of Albacete and D.Alavés respectively, join the set-piece prowess and exquisite shot possessed by Numancia's Julio Álvarez.
Keko played all of his team's league games in the last month and, alongside his team-mate in defence Pulido, netted once in the draw against Girona. And when it comes to finding the net, Venezuelan international Álvarez made his mark in his side’s clash against UD Las Palmas, hitting two of his team’s goals, one a beauty, and providing an assist. In total, Álvarez scored three times in the month of March to increase his tally for the season to eight goals and nine assists.
Finally, Juanma likewise played his part in Alavés' positive efforts over the past month, starting his club's last four games and chipping in with a goal in the 2-0 win over RCD Mallorca.
Barreiro has been the driving force behind his side, scoring five goals
Up front
The ideal eleven's attacking trio again stars players from Alavés (Manu Barreiro) and Llagostera (Sergio León), and also boasts a top-drawer addition in CD Tenerife's Maxi Pérez.
Each of the players has been outstanding for their respective clubs, having a dream like month and a great time in front of goal. Barreiro has been his side's driving force, scoring five goals. The same applies to Sergio León, who scored three goals last month, one on the win against RCD Mallorca. In total, the Catalan side's striker has scored his goals so far this season.
The attacking trio is completed with the Uruguayan player Maxi Pérez, who has helped Tenerife to recover in the Liga Adelante. Along with Diego Ifrán, Maxi has scored all of his side’s goals over the last four games, strikes that have led to wins and draws, giving Tenerife cause for hope.
