Seville will face Fiorentina in the semi-finals of the Europa League

The 2013-13 UEFA Europa League champions now know who they will face in the semi-finals of the competition this year. Sevilla CF will face ACF Fiorentina in the semis aiming to win the most precious ticket in the European tournament.

After a few weeks where Sevilla have left Borussia Mönchengaldbach, Villarreal CF and FC Zenit by the wayside, the current champions will now be aiming to reach their second successive final against the Italians.

Fiorentina, who have the Spanish player Joaquín Sánchez among their ranks, will face Sevilla on 7 May, in the first leg of the semi-finals and the return leg takes place on 14 May. The other game sees FC Dnipro taken on SSC Napoli. The winners of the semis will meet in the keenly anticipated final in Warsaw (Polond), on 27 May.
