Mestalla plays host to its last match of the season, a game with plenty to play for given that Valencia CF have a chance to wrap up fourth place in the Liga BBVA. Looking to rain on their parade though are RC Celta, who managed to get a point against Los Che earlier in the season.
Team news
The home team will be without suspended forward Rodrigo Moreno for this encounter. Meanwhile, Eduardo Berizzo will be leaving a number of players behind in Vigo ahead of this away trip: Santiago Mina and Augusto Fernández, who are both suspended; as well as Carles Planas, Nemanja Radoja and Borja Oubiña, who are all still recovering from injuries.
Views from the dugouts
The Valencia boss, Nuno Espírito Santo, has stated that he sees this as a key fixture: "we can achieve the goal we set out for ourselves at the beginning of the season". The Portuguese coach also went into detail about the upcoming rival: "They are a good side, they play good football and are sure to make things very difficult for us".
His counterpart in the Galician outfit’s dugout, Berizzo, stated that in order to win, his team need to put in a lot of hard work and do things well. Despite this, the Argentine is also optimistic about his side's chances for this encounter: "We've shown that as long as we stay focused we’re capable of giving any team a game".
