Santander Adrenalyn Challenge by LaLiga eSports back with a bang

After getting up and running on 31 March with the first tournament of the online phase, which the ironically named fail belied his gamer tag to win, the Santander Adrenalyn Challenge by LaLiga eSports was back in action last weekend. The Arena GG platform was again used for the second online qualifying competition in the series.

Up for grabs once more was a ticket to the final phase, to be staged at Gamergy 2018. Having progressed through two preliminary rounds and then the last 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals, DaviD-_-TheBest and PrimoDeFer locked horns in the final, with the former triumphing 2-0 on aggregate. Third spot went to josarcadio, who beat Rayden22 by the same scoreline in a playoff.

The third tournament will be contested this coming weekend, kicking off on Saturday and concluding on Sunday 15 April. These qualifying meets will continue every Saturday until 19 May, when the online phase's eighth and final tournament will begin, and the eight winners will go through to the final phase, to be held at Gamergy between 22 and 24 June.

Subsequently, at this year's edition of Gamergy, Spain's most important eSports event, eight in-person open tournaments will be played to determine the gamers who will face off against the champions from the online phase. This final field of 16 will compete against one another in a gripping final that will take place during the event.
