Real Betis part company with coach Víctor Sanchez del Amo

Real Betis have parted company with coach Victor Sanchez del Amo the club said in a statement on their website, after a board meeting on Tuesday.

The club said they wanted, “to thank Mr Sanchez del Amo for the work done by him and his team, and wish him all the best in his future professional life.”

Alexis Trujillo, the club technical secretary and a member of the previous management team, will take charge of the side for the remaining two games of the season, at home to Atletico Madrid and away to Real Sporting. The club lie 15th in the standings, 10 points above the relegation places.
