Rayo Vallecano have arrived in China

Paco Jemez’s side landed in the Chinese city on Monday morning. Several local fans welcomed the team in front of the hotel where they will be staying until tomorrow.

On Wednesday Rayo Vallecano will face Real Sociedad in the city of Nanjing as an event of LaLiga World. Robert Trahorras, captain of the Madrid based team, stressed the importance of the trip to help LaLiga increase their global reach. "We have to help sell ourselves and the LaLiga product because it is good for Spain; we are here to contribute to that. I believe we have to be open to this and always be willing to lend a hand to help LaLiga become better known".
