Pedro Ríos scored the best goal in the Liga Adelante in April

Pedro Ríos’s audacious goal from 55-metres against Numancia has been named the Goal of the Month for April, awarded by LFP.es

The veteran of the Andalusian team scored the goal which kick-started a comeback for his side at Los Parjaritos. With his side losing 1-0, Pedro Ríos let fly from his own half to beat Biel Ribas, who could do nothing to prevent the ball flying into the net. This unbelievable goal gave a huge lift to Recre, who then won the match in the second half thanks to Caye Quintana’s goal.

With this goal, the former UD Levante, Getafe CF and Xerez CD player has earned a prize that few other players can claim. The 33-year-old midfielder now has an important role at Recreativo and has consolidated himself in the starting line-up.
