It has taken Alfredo Ortuño just four matches to rack up more goals for Cadiz CF than he managed in previous spells at UD Las Palmas and RCD Mallorca. His impressive tally of five makes him the club's most potent attacking threat and the man who could lead them down the sought-after path towards LaLiga Santander.
The 25-year-old had already plied his trade at nine other clubs before signing for Cadiz, where he seems to have really matured as a player, having found the back of the net in four games on the spin and showing no signs of tiring. The Spaniard is comfortable with both feet and makes the most of any sight of goal, as shown by the fact that he currently sits in fourth place in the list of LaLiga 1|2|3 players to have had the most efforts on goal. He is a real danger to any goalkeeper in the division.
Ortuño's best campaign to date came in 2015/16 when he notched 11 goals during spells at R. Zaragoza and then Mallorca. He is already over a third of the way there and is keen to improve on that figure in a bid to become the main striker at the Ramon de Carranza. With five goals against Getafe CF, CD Mirandes, Mallorca and UD Almeria in four games, the forward could barely have made a better start.
