At. Osasuna and R. Racing C., two teams fighting for their survival, have everything to play for this weekend as they try to stay up for another year of Liga Adelante football, meaning that winning their respective encounters, especially in the case of the Cantabrians, will be of vital importance.

Javier Pinillos’s players need los rojillos to lose and also pick up three points themselves against Albacete B. in what is sure to be one of the games of the week. A strong individual performance could well determine all the Santander outfit’s hard work and sacrifice throughout the year, so all eyes will be on the Carlos Belmonte side’s Cristián Portugués 'Portu' as well as Racing’s Enrique González 'Quique'during this encounter.

Portu, as he is better known in the world of football, has been one of Albacete’s dangermen this season. Having joined from Valencia Mestalla, in the Segunda División B, he has taken to the division like a duck to water and is currently the talisman in the middle of the park for the Castile-La-Mancha team. With 3000 minutes under his belt he is Luis César Sampedro’s most used player and is also among the side’s top five providers of assists with 800 completed passes to his name.

Meanwhile, Quique arrived to Santander from UD Almería during the winter transfer window and has been Racing’s top performer during the second half of the season. The Valladolid native can play through the middle as well as on the flanks and in just 18 games has amassed almost 1500 minutes of playing time and made over 300 passes.

The two men have become stalwarts in midfield for their respective teams and have both made a habit pitching in up front. Portu has racked up six goals and Quique has bagged four, while the Racing winger has struck on goal on fifteen occasions, three more times than the Murcian. Additionally, both players have provided two assists and are very accomplished with the ball at their feet, having attempted more than forty dribbles each.

In conclusion, precision in front of goal and versatility are the greatest attributes of two players who could mark the difference on the last game of the Liga Adelante season.
