Valencia CF has already the ticket to the Group Stage of the UEFA Champions League, where they will compete among the best 32 teams in the continent after spending the tie against AS Monaco with a final score of 3-4 to the "valenciano" team.
“Now new challenges are open and we have got in front of us the first game of our future. Valencia is a Champions team," said manager Nuno Espirito Santo after the second leg in the Louis II Stadium of the Principality.

With the classification, the "Che" side becomes the fifth LaLiga team to join the top European competition, and signed an historic achievement because there was never a domestic competition with so many clubs in the old continent.
The draw for the group stage will be held on August 27, but Valencia has not a favorite opponent to face. "The whole last season was summarized in this match, and the effort of everyone has made us qualify. To me, personally, I am thrilled to play the Champions League and I'm fulfilling a dream," said young fullback José Luis Gayà.
