La Liga is back to the top of Europe. This time, it does through the three nominees for the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award 2014/15, which are Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona), Luis Suarez and Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid).
These last three nominees, all of them players from LaLiga, opt for an award that UEFA will hand on Friday August 28 in Monaco, and will raise one of them as the best player of the season in continental competitions.
In two of the last three editions, the prize went to a player from LaLiga. In 2012 he went to Andres Iniesta, while last year Cristiano Ronaldo was the winner.

The Argentine striker of FC Barcelona dazzled Europe in the UEFA Champions League that Barça finally lifted on 6 June at the Olympic Berlín Stadium. Messi scored ten goals and given six assists in one of his brightest seasons.
Suarez, in his first season at FC Barcelona, signed a dream course with seven goals, three assists and an historic treble.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who was on the verge of the UEFA Champions League final after losing with Real Madrid against Juventus, also scored ten goals that have allowed him to be, once again, among the three nominees for the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award 2014/15
