The LaLiga Experience is about much more than football. It is also about culture, history, technology, local delicacies and fun. Proof of this is the day enjoyed by the LaLiga Experience's new signings as they got to know their new team, CD Leganes, and their new city, Madrid.
After taking a tour of Butarque Stadium, where they also enjoyed a number of challenges related to the match at the heart of the experience, CD Leganes v FC Barcelona, the journalists and celebrities taking part in the first experience of the 2019/20 season set off for the centre of the capital to discover the charms of Madrid.
From Gran Via to the Plaza Mayor, stopping by the Palacio Real, the Puerta del Sol and the streets of La Latina, our guests from Argentina, Colombia, the Netherlands and Georgia explored the historical secrets kept by their new city and sampled its local cuisine, enjoying their spell as new LaLiga signings from a different perspective.
They also had the chance to interview CD Leganes players Guido Carrillo and Martin Braithwaite, and even challenged full-back Marc Navarro to a game of FIFA 20. Overall, it was an adventure thay they will always remember.
