Team News:
- R. Sporting: Lillo (injured)
- UD Las Palmas: Vicente Gomez and Tana (both injured); Kevin-Prince Boateng, Marco Livaja and Jese (all suspended).
Sporting (18th, 24 pts):
- Rubi's troops haven't tasted victory since beating Granada CF on Matchday 28 and suffered a damaging defeat at the hands of Villarreal CF last weekend. With the club third from bottom and six points from safety, registering a win over Las Palmas is absolutely essential.
- "We have to give everything from the first minute," stated Jorge Mere ahead of the match. The Sporting players are fully aware that it's crunch time for the club in their bid to avoid relegation.
Las Palmas (14th, 39 pts):
-Las Palmas have been in poor form in recent weeks, suffering three defeats in their last four, conceding 14 goals in the process, while only scoring two themselves.
-With the islanders safe from relegation and comfortable in mid-table, Quique Setien's side head into the fixture with nothing to play for, but they will want to end the campaign on a high and give the fans something to smile about.
