LaLiga played an active role at the Sports Analytics Innovation Summit, which took place in London on 5 and 6 April, presenting new analytical technology within the world of football. Under the title of MediaCoach & The Future of Football Analytics, Marta Copete, LaLiga's head of technological development, and Hugo Blanco, LaLiga's sporting projects coordinator, explained that football is evolving alongside the analytical tools that are used to study the beautiful game.
LaLiga has used its position at the forefront of innovation to develop the MediaCoach Suite, a professional video-analysis tool which integrates groundbreaking technology in physical, technical and tactical data, in tandem with MEDIAPRO.
Since its implementation in 2010, MediaCoach has become a crucial technology platform for all 42 professional clubs that constitute LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1|2|3, by helping us build the best league in the world and establish ourselves as pioneers in the field of technology.
