Juan Villar, named Liga Adelante player of the Month for December

Real Valladolid striker, Juan Villar, (Aroche, Huelva, 19/05/1988), is the winner of the Liga Adelante player of the Month for December, an award that has been achieved thanks to an outstanding month at personal level. In the three matches he played with his team, the Pucelano footballer managed to score at least one goal in each game.

The match against D. Alavés was the start of a run of three consecutive games scoring. Villar equalized the game, but Valladolid failed to achieve the win. The dynamic changed in the following two games. Against Albacete B., the Andalusian´s goal meant the three points. Against CD Tenerife the joy was double. Villar signed two of the four goals of his team to close the year with three more points.

The award, presented by BBVA, the main sponsor of the competition, and chosen by the editors of LaLiga.es, rewards the great work of the striker, who takes 8 goals in 17 games this season and has emerged as one of the pillars of the Pucelano team.
