First minutes with respect
At the beginning of the game both teams showed caution. The first chances took a while to come. However, little by little and as the minutes went by, Deportivo de La Coruña took control of the ball.

Lucas Perez keeps scoring
It is the speciality of the Deportivo de La Coruña player, scoring goals, even from a free kick. Against Sevilla the home striker, who now has ten goals under his belt, surprised Sergio Rico with a perfect shot. The ball went in close to the post and the away keeper touched it, but couldn’t save it. In the last five games that Deportivo has scored, Lucas Perez has done so too.
One chance, one goal
Throughout the match, the Galician defenders were extremely solid. Arribas and Sidnei ruined once and again all of Sevilla’s opportunities. Unai Emery’s men hardly had any chances on goal, even though Llorente and Reyes came on in the second half. However, Iborra took advantage of a mistake by the home side to draw. From then onwards, the initiative evened out and both teams looked for the winning goal.
Deportivo de La Coruña’s dream
Despite the equalizer, the Galician team is still in the top positions of the league. 14 fixtures have now gone by and Victor Sanchez’s men continue with their great streak in a match where, even though they were superior, they didn´t manage to win.

Sevilla, uncomfortable away from Sanchez Pizjuan
In their stadium, the Andalusians couldn’t have better numbers: 5 consecutive wins, including the ones against Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. However, Unai Emery’s men aren’t the same away from Sevilla and they don’t really please anyone. Despite the draw, they still don’t know what it’s like to get an away victory.
