Manuel Jesús Vázquez 'Chuli' and Sergio Araujo will fight it out in the two boxes of the Butarque stadium in the game between CD Leganés and UD Las Palmas corresponding to matchday 37 of the Liga Adelante. The Andalusian and the Argentinian are both key players for their sides, and the leading goal scorers at their clubs. Undoubtedly, their performances will be crucial in deciding the eventual outcome of the game.
Chuli will be playing at home. The player from Huelva has appeared in 19 games this season, of which he has started 13. He only made three appearances for Real Betis, all as a substitute, and the rest he played with Leganés. He was played 1,246 minutes, in the Liga Adelante, managing to score eight goals, all inside the area. He has scored his goals in a number of different ways, three with his right foot, four with his left, and just one with his head.
Sergio Araujo will visit Butarque for the first time in his career. This season, the Argentinian has played 35 Liga Adelante games, starting in all of them. The Las Palmas forward has played 2,984 minutes this season and notched up 18 goals, making him the third highest goal scorer in the league. The large majority of his goals, 15, have been from inside the area. As for how he has scored, Araujo has got most of his goals with his right foot (14), three with his left foot and has none with his head.

Araujo has had more shots and been more accurate this season that Chuli. The Argentinian has had 77 shots, of which 45 were on target, while the Andalusian player has had 31, of which only 14 have been on target. As for dribbling, the Las Palmas player also has the better numbers. The South American has tried 96 dribbles and completed 37, while the player from Huelva has tried 44, and completed 14 of them.
Araujo, who is not so much of an out and out forward as Chuli, also has better passing statistics. The Argentinian has made 658 passes, compared to only 162 by the Andalusian. Lastly, in terms of ball recoveries, the Las Palmas player is once again outstanding, with 71 while the Leganés player has only made 16.
