Goals galore as Valencia kick start their pre-season

SC Munster 2-4 Valencia CF

Valencia CF got their pre-season off to a great start with an impressive win over SC Munster. The LaLiga side, playing in their away kit, went in search of a goal from kick off and it was Paco Alcacer who gave them an early lead. Denis Mangafic's own goal then doubled Valencia's lead on 14 minutes, although the defender made up for his mistake when he pulled a goal back for the German side to make it 2-1.

However, the goals did not stop there and Jeron Hazaimeh equalised for the Germans before the break. Rodrigo restored Valencia's lead early in the second half and then Aridai made it 4-2 to seal Pako Ayestaran's team's first pre-season win.

Granada CF 2-0 Bristol City

Goals from Gabriel Silva and Darwin Machis saw Granada CF run out 2-0 winners over a Bristol City side that made them work hard for the win. Silva capped Granada's dominant first-half performance with a wonder goal to break the deadlock.

The Spanish team extended their lead in the second half as Paco Jemez's side put in an impressive performance out on the pitch.

SD Huesca 1-1 Athletic Club

One of the most exciting games of the day was the one between SD Huesca and Athletic Club as the two LaLiga sides played out a 1-1 draw. Jose Camacho's 44th-minute goal fired the home side ahead on the brink of half-time.

However, the visitors equalised just a minute later through Markel Susaeta. The first-half ended all square and a hard-fought second half failed to provide any further goals.

Logroñes 0-1 Real Sociedad 

There was also a very entertaining match at Laguardia where Real Sociedad ran out 1-0 winners over Logroñes courtesy of Babic's 39th-minute goal. The win sees the Basque side further improve their form ahead of the new LaLiga season.

Nastic 1-2 Villarreal CF

Villarreal sealed another pre-season win thanks to Alfonso Pedraza and Roberto Soldado's goals against Gimnastic. The Yellow Submarine put in a good performance in a quality 90 minutes of football.
