Gayà staying at Valencia until 2020

Valencia CF on Friday confirmed that their left back José Luis Gayà has signed a new deal, keeping him with them until the end of the 2019/20 season. The player, who came through the youth ranks, signed his contract at the club’s headquarters, accompanied by president Amadeo Salvo and sporting director Rufete.

"I'm happy and satisfied. It’s a great time for football, having a player who had grown up with us to give us another five years shows Valencia’s success", said Amadeo Salvo.

Gayà, whose previous deal ran to 2018, has played 32 times for the club in Liga BBVA this season, notching up 2651 minutes in total. The left back has also scored once and provided five assists.
