France to host Sporting's LaLiga World bow

The French city of Nancy is set to play host to R.Sporting's first participation in the LaLiga World, the international programme which seeks to promote the image of Spanish clubs and LaLiga's values around the globe.

Sporting are poised to make their bow as LaLiga ambassadors in France with a friendly fixture against AS Nancy on Saturday 6 August, at 18:00 CEST, at the Stade Marcel Picot, as Abelardo Fernandez's side up their preparations ahead of the start of the campaign.

In the wake of the successful end-of-season tours enjoyed by RCD Espanyol in Bolivia and both Real Sociedad and SD Eibar in the US, Sporting become the latest club to sign up for a pre-season trip organised under the auspices of a project which bids to continue spreading the LaLiga message throughout the planet.
