At 40 years-old, Esteban Suárez has accumulated a lot of experience and stories about the world of football. His 22 years as a professional has allowed him to have an impeccable career that continues today at his beloved Real Oviedo.

Despite his age, Esteban maintains the same enthusiasm as when he started and it is those values of commitment and effort that are an example of the youths of LaLiga who have travelled to Colombia.

At the hotel where the six Spanish teams participating in the II International Tournament of LaLiga Promises are staying over the next few days, Esteban told the youngsters about how his career started, all the clubs he has played for, memories of his coaches and funny stories that the boys liked a lot.

Esteban also wanted to advise the players and coaches about how to overcome the difficult moments, the importance of taking care of yourself to avoid injuries and how to work hard to earn a starting place in the side. The goalkeeper and captain of Real Oviedo finished his meeting by sending the following message to the youths: "Football is a sport to make you happy."
