Remarkable start by RC Celta
The Galicians started the match against Las Palmas with a perfect play and thus confirmed their good league start. Dominance and control of the "Celestes" was clearly reflected on the scoreboard: 2-0 in less than 20 minutes. Fabian Orellana, from the penalty spot, and Daniel Wass, were the scorers of the goals.

Javi Varas sending off
12 minutes into the game, Iago Aspas went into the rival box and Javi Varas made a penalty on him. The referee had no doubts and showed the red card to the goalkeeper. Lizoain was his replacement. Orellana did not miss the penalty and opened the scoring of the match.

Struggle to get into the game
With the result against, and with only 10 players on the field, Las Palmas reacted with goals. In a defensive mistake by the home side, the "Canarios" went into the box and Araujo slipped the ball into the back of the net, scoring his first goal for Las Palmas in Liga BBVA.

Changing roles in the second half
Celta came out again with clear intentions after the break. Barely had been three minutes of the second half when Nolito scored the third for the hosts. After the goal, the "Celestes" went down and Las Palmas took the center stage. From the 3-1 to a draw by means of Sergio Araujo and David Simon.

Final effort unrewarded
Both teams gave everything in the last minutes. Celta refused to give up and never stopped attacking through Nolito and Orellana. Las Palmas, meanwhile, tried to reach the final icing with some counterattacks. The work of the two sides was not awarded and the game ended 3-3.
