The RCD Espanyol squad made the most of the free time between events and pre-game preparations to explore Santa Cruz de la Sierra, the city where the Catalan outfit have kicked off their end-of-season stay in Bolivia. There was a laid-back atmosphere as the majority of the Pericos' travelling party strolled around the city's main streets. During their saunter, the players dropped in on a market selling local craft products, before heading over to the Plaza 24 de Septiembre, a bustling square located right in the heart of the city.

As defender Roberto Correa recognised, "the way we've been welcomed in Bolivia has been incredible and the locals are treating us exceptionally well." During their excursion, the players were on the receiving end of countless shows of affection from locals, many of whom asked squad members to pose for photos, whilst others were brave enough to have a kick around with the LaLiga stars.

This visit served to strengthen the links being fostered between the RCD Espanyol squad and the host population by the LaLiga World initiative. The activity also provided an opportunity for the players to enjoy themselves in a somewhat more relaxed setting.
