#ElClasico, a celebration for LaLiga fans in China

LaLiga's official broadcaster in China, PPTV, and LaLiga itself will be taking #ElClasico to Beijing and Shanghai this coming Saturday. Aside from the two aforementioned megacities, five other Chinese metropolises will get to enjoy this huge festival of football – Nanjing, Qingdao, Chengdu, Shenzhen and Xi'an. Fans of FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and the Spanish game as a whole will be able to take part in a variety of activities at these events, which give #ElClasico representation throughout China. 

The event in Shanghai will take place at PlusSpace, where attendees will be able to participate in various themed activities, test their wits in video game competitions and take in LaLiga exhibitions. The biggest treat for fans here will be the presence of LaLiga ambassador Gaizka Mendieta. 

While ex-Barcelona star Mendieta represents LaLiga in Shanghai, his fellow LaLiga ambassador Fernando Morientes, formerly of Real Madrid, will be part of the equivalent event in Beijing. The experience will be staged at the Modern Design Square, a former factory that has since been converted into an impressive gallery. Fans will be able to take part in competitions, enjoy exhibitions and much more at this El Clasico party in the Chinese capital.
