Match Facts:
Las Palmas (7th, 11 pts):
- Las Palmas would appear to really thrive on playing host to Los Pericos, with the islanders currently enjoying a lengthy unbeaten run against the Catalans on their own patch. Indeed, the hosts have succumbed to defeat just once in their last 16 home LaLiga clashes against Espanyol. That reverse came back in March 1988 when the visitors ran out 2-0 winners.

- The easy-on-the-eye passing game adopted by Quique Setien's charges has recently been accompanied by a clinical streak in front of goal, which has seen Las Palmas lay claim to the highest shots-to-goals rate in the league (28.07%).
Espanyol (17th, 6 pts):
- The Barcelona-based outfit will be hoping to come racing out of the traps in the opening 15 minutes, as they look to catch the hosts at their most vulnerable. Setien's troops have the unenviable honour of topping the division's rankings for goals conceded inside the first 15 minutes of games, with three of the 13 they've leaked having come inside the opening quarter of an hour of their matches.

- Quique Sanchez Flores will be looking to Gerard Moreno to fire his men to victory and the striker's recent form - which has seen him notch four of his side's last six goals - provides plenty of reason for optimism.
