Chory Castro scored the Liga BBVA Goal of the Month for April

The Real Sociedad player Chory Castro has been named by the staff at LFP.es as the scorer of the best goal in the Liga BBVA in April. The Uruguayan produced a masterpiece for the Basque side on matchday 31 in the Liga BBVA.

In the 57th minute of Real Sociedad’s game with RC Deportivo at Anoeta, Castro executed a wondrous volley from the left hand side of the area which flew into the far top corner. Deportivo goalkeeper Fabricio was powerless to stop this thunderbolt, which put Real Sociedad 2-1 up in the match, although the Galicians managed to draw the game 2-2 in the end thanks to a goal by Toché.
