Karim Benzema guarantees a goal per game this season. At least, that's what the statistics say about a striker who, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, has found the footballing maturity to shine and to make shine to his teammates in Real Madrid's attacking line.
The French has outdone himself and sums 12 goals in the 13 games he has played this course. Numbers that give him a scoring average ever seen in past statistics: 0.92 goals per game. A record from which, at this stage of the campaign, very few can boast.

Although it is true that at this point of last season (after matchday 14 of Liga BBVA and the group stage of the UEFA Champions League), he had scored 13 goals, one more than the current campaign, he needed a total of 17 games to get it. That is, four more games than he has played so far, and that is why he had a 0.76 scoring average per game.
Gone are the first five goals of the 2012/13, 2010/11 and 2009/10 seasons. By then, his scoring average did not exceed the 0.31 goals per game. But now, with the experience of a mature forward and the support by his sides of the other two big scorers of Real Madrid, has emerged as the perfect "9" to drill the rival goals.
Is already a reality that the White striker lives his best moment as Real Madrid player and, at this rate, could achieve his greatest season as a professional. Never, since he joined the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer of 2009, he had celebrated so many goals in this period of time. His record was the 13 goals of last year, but he has even exceeded the eleven goals with which he started the 2011/12 campaign. The show has only just begun.
