Average audience of 326,000 recorded for Celta v Atletico

LaLiga Santander enjoyed its first taste of the 13:00 kick-off slot on Saturday. Official viewing figures by Kantar Media showed that the new time generated an average audience of 326,000 on beIN LaLiga, the channel that broadcast RC Celta v Atletico Madrid via four operators: Movistar, Vodafone, Orange and Telecable. 

Seventy-eight minutes of the match overlapped with the derby between Manchester United and Manchester City in the Premier League, which was shown on Movistar Futbol and #0. Total viewing figures when the two games clashed between 13:30 and 14:48 hit 584,000, with 343,000 watching Celta take on Atletico, while the remaining 241,000 enjoyed the Premier League affair.
