A very special week for Espanyol

RCD Espanyol have stepped onto the pitch of the Estadio Monumental Banco Pichincha ahead of their match with Barcelona SC de Guayacil in the Copa Euromericana/LFP World Challenge.

Before their official training session, the players took part in a very special act — training with children from the 'Fútbol Más' foundation. By doing so, the entire squad managed to put a smile on the faces of children for face tremendous difficulties in their everyday lives.
Kiko Casilla, the Espanyol goalkeeper, highlighted the importance of acts like this. "For me it is a privilege to be with these children who who need to feel love and close to us. It's wonderful to be here."

Thanks to the Copa Euromaericana, the LFP World Challenge and the foundation 'Fútbol Más', the children were able to experience something they will never forget.
