The Division Committees of LALIGA unanimously approve the competition start calendar

This Tuesday morning, the Division Committees of LALIGA EA SPORTS and LALIGA HYPERMOTION unanimously approved the competition start calendar for the 2026/27 season, as well as the split-round format for the opening of the competition.

The unanimous backing of the First and Second Division clubs reflects the broad consensus around a proposal that guarantees the stability of the competition, respects the players' rest and pre-season periods, and offers specific solutions for those clubs that may be affected by their players' participation in the final stages of the World Cup.
